Shipping policy

Shipping

  • Getting our wine to you in good condition is extremely important to us. That said, wine is a delicate commodity and shipping wine is a tricky business.  Wine does not like extremes of temperature.  Hot summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment.  We will delay shipment in cases of extreme hot or cold weather. We will cellar your purchase, monitor weather conditions, and ship when temperate weather allows safe shipment.  We will keep you informed if your shipment is delayed.

  • Arenness Cellars is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment.  All wines are sold in Oregon and title passes to the buyer in Oregon. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of Oregon. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.

  • The risk of loss and title for all wine ordered on this site passes to you when the wine is delivered to the shipping carrier.

  • We use a third party shipping coordinator. Ground shipping is provided by UPS Ground. You may choose to ship your wine via UPS 2 Day Air for an additional cost.

  • Be sure to select the correct shipping method (ground v. air) as well as the correct number of bottles to be shipped while completing the shipping section of the checkout process. Shipping to a business address is encouraged. Please make sure your address, telephone number, and zip code are perfectly accurate. We are not responsible for inaccurate shipping details. Please contact us at info@arennesscellars.com if you need more information.
